
Accomplished Educator
Welcome to the website for Mrs. Justa, an Educator at St. Clair High School. I currently teach English 9, English 11, English 9/10 SE, English 11/12 SE, and Life Skills. My goal as a teacher is to help students gain knowledge and skills necessary to become productive members of society.

Overview of Courses
2020/2021
Pre-Voc
This class will focus on Careers and Transition Skills needed to prepare each student for the working world. Semester 1 will be focusing on exploring ourselves, as well as, career interests and opportunities. Semester 2 will focus on applying for jobs, resumes, 1st days on the job, Social Security, and insurance.
2020/2021
ELA B and ELA D
This class will follow the English Essential Element curriculum. Each student will participate in Read Naturally. We will also utilize Moby Max to enhance skills in Grammar, Phonics, Spelling, Vocabulary and Reading non-fiction and literature. Students will also work on writing and communication skills.
2020/2021
English 12 Team Taught
This class will follow the Michigan Merit Curriculum. Students will increase reading skills relating to non-fiction and literature. Students will also focus on writing skills with an emphasis on research.

Biography
An Academic’s Story
After graduating from Marysville High School, I ventured to Grand Valley State University. I obtained my Bachelor's of Science with a major in Psychology and Special Education with an emphasis in Cognitive Impairments and Emotional Impairments. I also minored in Elementary Education. I earned my Master's Degree at Saginaw Valley State University in Learning and Behavioral Disorders. Previously, I worked at Algonac Community Schools for 18 years. I started working at St. Clair High School within the East China School District in 2016.
